1938 - 2023
Diane died on December 13, 2023, aged 85, at Moog & Friends Hospice House in Penticton, BC at the time of her own choosing.
Diane was predeceased in 2009 by her beloved husband Les Smith and is survived by her loving step-daughter Annie (and Andy) and their extended family in England, as well as her dear friend and neighbour Cyril Marten.
Born in Toronto, Diane moved to Vancouver in 1964 and followed a career in finance until she and Les retired to the Okanagan Valley in 1992.
As an active member of St. Saviour's Anglican Church, she enjoyed the spiritual guidance and the fellowship, especially the Thursday Lunch Group. Friday bridge games,books, the daily crossword, travel and Sunday dinners with Cyril's family filled her retirement years with joy.
Cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Life will be held at St. Saviour's Anglican Church, Penticton, BC on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at 2:00 p.m.
