Died from complications due to COVID-19.
He is survived by Madeline, his wife of 61 years; and his children Janice (Paul Duckett), Craig (Juliet Molitor), and Gordon (Cynthia Schyff).
Also survived by his sister, Jean Cloutier; and grandchildren, Silken, Calum, Islish, Ansel, Riley, Gillian, Joshua, and Cameron.
He was a kind, decent, and loving man, with a wonderful sense of humour, and we will miss him tremendously.
Our sincere thanks to the team at Carpenter Hospice for making his final days peaceful, and to Dr. Adam Grzeslo for providing over 40 years of exceptional health care.
Following Jim's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral.
If desired, donations can be made in Jim's name to Carpenter Hospice (Burlington) or the Alzheimer Society.
