DICKIE, William 'Bill' Paul  -

August 5, 1942 - January 14, 2024

With deep sorrow, we announce that Bill died surrounded by his loving family after a brief illness.

We celebrate his life and the many good times shared with his people over the years.

Bill will be forever loved and missed by his wife of 48 years, Janet Law Dickie; his devoted children, Christine (Jason) Turnpenny and Bob (Emma) Dickie; his grandchildren, Cole, Halle, Hazel and Maggie; family dog, Annie; loving sisters, Carol (Michael) Moffat and Susan Chandelier; sisters-in-law, Peggy (Vance) White and MaryAnn Law; countless cousins, nephews, nieces and friends.

Bill was an excellent guy who put others first.

He was fiercely loyal, kind and caring. He truly loved people and having a good time.

A celebration of life will be planned soon to honour the life of an exceptional man.

'When our time on this earth is done, money or material things will not matter.

But the love, time and kindness we've given others will shine and live on forever.' In memory of Bill, donations can be made to support Toronto Western Hospital – ICU at UHN Foundation, UHNfoundation.ca/tribute .
