MILLER, Ruth Miller - Passed away unexpectedly, yet peacefully, on January 15, 2024 at her home in Toronto, at the age of 82.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, George Campbell Miller, and is mourned by her Australian family and friends and her adopted family and friends in Toronto.
She was a dear sister, aunt, great-aunt, step- mother, step-grandmother and friend to many.
A former caterer, exceptional chef and baker, Ruth had a flair for entertaining as well as an inventory of homemade marmalade and cookies.
An avid tennis player, her social life revolved around the Toronto Lawn Tennis Club, where she will be greatly missed.
A private gathering in Toronto is being arranged.
Ruth will be buried in the family plot in Chewton, Victoria, Australia.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be directed to the Art Gallery of Ontario or the Georgian Bay Land Trust.
