Soloway SusanSOLOWAY, Susan Soloway  -  A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away on February 19, 2024, in Toronto, at the age of 77.

Susan is survived by her devoted husband, John, her cherished children, Sarah and Jake (Lisa), her caring brother, Lawrence (Joanne), and her six adoring grandchildren.

Susan was born in 1946 to Hyman and Ruth Soloway and raised in the McKellar Park area of Ottawa, where she attended Broadview P.S. and Nepean H.S.

She was both very attractive and academically successful.

She did undergraduate studies at McGill, a masters in political science at Carleton and a law degree at Osgoode Hall, all at a time when such achievements were relatively rare for women.

As a loving wife, Susan was the epitome of devotion, standing by her husband through thick and thin, and creating a home filled with love. As a mother, Susan's unwavering support and guidance shaped the lives of her children, Sarah and Jake, instilling in them the values of kindness, empathy, and perseverance.

She cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren, especially the times spent together in the Kawartha's, creating lasting memories that will be treasured for generations to come.

Her unwavering commitment to excellence and her compassionate nature made her a respected and admired colleague.

In accordance with Susan's wishes, there will be no funeral service. Instead, the family requests that donations be made in her honour to the Daily Bread Foodbank (https://www.dailybread.ca/ways-to-give).

Susan's memory will live on through the lives she touched and the love she shared with all who knew her.

Rest in peace, dear Susan, knowing that your love and light will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those who love you.
