Nesbitt JosephNESBITT, Joseph Robert  -

April 20, 1988 – February 20, 2024

It is with great sadness that the family share the message that Joe, age 35, of Toronto, passed away peacefully on February 20, 2024, with the help of MAID and a caring doctor and nurse.

At Joe's request he died in his own home. Joe journeyed for almost two years against all odds with pancreatic cancer.

Born April 20, 1988, in Toronto, Joe leaves behind his wife of six years, Michelle LeHane; his parents, Rev. Brenda McKay (Bob McKay) and Robert M. Nesbitt.

He is also grieved by his two brothers, John Nesbitt and Adam Lennox. Joe was a loyal friend to so many.

For the past year Joe trained his dog, Cid, to be a true-blue companion.

Joe was on the road to success when he joined Glazier Local 1819, January 1, 2019, Toronto.

Joe had successfully completed 70 percent of his apprenticeship toward becoming a Journeyman Glazier.

Joe had no fear of high places installing windows nearing the same plane as the CN Tower.

Joe was fond of people and was most happy when surrounded by his wife, Shell, and his many friends, many of whom he grew up with in Leaside, Toronto. He loved helping out whenever he was able and made many trips to family cottages north of Toronto.

Joe loved to dive from high places and swim in the clear northern Ontario lakes. Joe was an avid gamer from a young age starting with Mario and continuing with online contests.

Celebration of Joe's Life on Saturday, February 24, 2024, 1 p.m. at Leaside United Church, 822 Millwood Road. Rev. Emily Gordon Officiating.
