Foster PhilipFOSTER, Philip Jefferys  - 1924 - 2018  It is with great sadness that we announce Phil's passing, from natural causes, in his 94th year, on Monday, January 22, 2018.

"PJ", beloved husband of 59 years to Ann (nee Ganong).

Loving father to Michael (Beverley) and Wendy (Don, deceased).

Dear Grandpa of Evan, Sean and Wil. A Marketing Executive, Phil spent much of his career marketing and selling consumer goods and services around the globe, finishing his career with the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources in 1989.

An avid skier, sailor, musician and gardener, his passions were many.

He made countless lifelong friends through school, work, church life, the RCYC and beyond and he truly cherished those friendships. He loved telling stories, good scotch, great jazz, short-wave radio, woodworking and above all, he loved a good party!

He especially looked forward to holiday celebrations, watching with pride as his family enjoyed each other's company. Phil will be lovingly remembered by so many.

Resting at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge Street, North York, visitation will occur on Wednesday, January 31st from 2-4 p.m. and again at 6-8 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 1st at 11 a.m. followed by a reception, and private interment.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciatede.
