SOLOMON, Tekla (nee Duba)  - July 30, 1931 - January 29, 2018 

Died unexpectedly on January 29, 2018 at the age of 86.

She will be forever missed by her loving children Sonia, Lesia Zelyk (Roman), Roman (Janet Ryan), Oksana Fuke (John).

Proud baba to Alexander, Timothy, Paul, Michael, Taissa, Anya, Emily and Patrick. Tekla is survived by her sisters Anna Bybel (Stephen) and Mary Laconte (late William), sister-in-law Maria Solomon (late Stephan) and numerous nephews and nieces in Canada, the United States and Poland.

Rejoined husband Pawlo and sisters Emilia Lukasik and Julia Duda in heaven. Thanks to all of her kind caregivers and the staff at Copernicus Lodge.

The family will receive visitors at the Cardinal Funeral Home, Annette Chapel (92 Annette Street) on Thursday, February 1st from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Panachyda/service will be held at 7:30 p.m.  Funeral will take place on Friday, February 2nd at 10 a.m. at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, 4 Bellwoods Avenue, with interment at Park Lawn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Ukrainian Youth Association or Vesnivka Choir.

Tekla will be remembered for her devotion to family, friends, church and the Ukrainian Community. Vichnaya Pamyat!.
