WASHBROOK, Marguerite Calvert (nee Currie) - Passed away peacefully at Providence Villa on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at the age of 89.
Beloved wife of the late Murray Washbrook.
Dear mother of Alan Washbrook and James Washbrook. Loving grandmother of Jeff (Courtney) and Jenna (Michael Zack).
Great-grandmother to Brody, Cooper, Makenna and Bennett.
Dear sister of the late Elizabeth Beaudrie and much loved aunt to many nieces and nephews and their children.
Marguerite will be fondly remembered by her fellow choristers, volunteer associates, card players and many friends for her wry sense of humour, honesty and loyalty.
Special thanks to the staff at Scarborough Centenary Hospital and Providence Villa for their attentive care and compassion.
Family and friends are invited to a service to celebrate Marguerite's life on Tuesday, February 13th, at McDougall & Brown Funeral Home, Scarborough Chapel, 2900 Kingston Road. Visitation is 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Service at 1:00 p.m. Reception to follow.
For those wishing, a donation in lieu of flowers, to the Alzheimer Society or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
