OMOTANI, Lorraine Satoko (nee SUMI) - It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Lorraine in her 93rd year on February 1, 2018.
Beloved wife of Koji (Jim) for 68 years.
Predeceased by her son, Michael. Devoted mother of Sandy (Simon Skeldon).
Cherished Nanny of Sean (Jacqueline), Alex (Phoebe) and Matthew.
Proud Big Nanny of Violet. Dear sister of Moots (Mutsuko Kumagai), Kikuo, Shuzo and the late Hideo and Kazuko.
Lorraine will be fondly remembered by her friends and family, especially her nieces and nephews.
A private funeral service has been held. A Celebration of Life is planned for a later date. Koden gratefully declined.
To honour Lorraine's memory, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Alzheimer Society or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
We would like to thank the staff at Wesburn Manor for the loving care provided to Lorraine during her stay.
