ADACHI, Louise Teruko - On Tuesday, February 27, 2018 Louise Teruko Adachi passed peacefully at Wesburn Manor in her 88th year.
She was the beloved wife of Jonathan Junji Adachi, loving and supportive mother of Rick and Karen Adachi, Margaret and Bill Powell, David and Marilyn Adachi and Diana and Stewart Hall.
She was the proud grandmother of Marcy and Andrew, Erin and Scott, Chris and Sara, Paul and Ashlynn, Stephen and Julie, Sarah and Michael, Lucas and Kira and great-grandmother to 7 grandsons who brought a smile to her face, James, Charlie, William, Kyle, Mason, Michael and Reid. Sister to Kay Tamaki, Grace Yamashita and George Machida.
Louise was a fiercely protective mother and fantastic cook who loved her children, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
No one would take advantage of her family on her watch. She will be missed by those who knew her.
Special thanks to the staff at Wesburn Manor for their kind, compassionate care of our mother, particularly in her final days.
A private family memorial will be conducted at a later date.
