PITT, Betty Eileen - Betty was born on October 16, 1920 to Samuel and Clara Pestell in Wood Green, London and died on March 1, 2018 in Richmond Hill, Ontario.
She was predeceased by her husband Thomas (1984), her daughter Susan (2007), her twin sister Joan (2011) and her other older siblings.
She will fondly be remembered by her granddaughters Laura and Emily and by extended family members in both Canada and England, as well as by Laura and Emily's adoptive family.
Betty was a gracious and optimistic woman who loved all kinds of sports, drove a car well into her 90s and was able to live independently in her condominium thanks to the assistance of Josephine and Leonardo Ho.
Family and friends may call at the Marshall Funeral Home, Richmond Hill on Saturday, March 24th from 2-4 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Mackenzie Health Foundation or Hill House Hospice would be appreciated.
