MacPhail JohnMacPHAIL, John Neil  - It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our brother, John Neil MacPhail on Sunday, April 22, 2018.

John was born in St. John's, Newfoundland on October 27, 1950.

He is now reunited with his loving parents Neil and Muriel MacPhail (Ehrhardt).

He will be fondly remembered by his siblings Jane (Phil), Scott (Donna), Leigh (Ron), David (Michelle) and Michael (Karen) as well as his nephews and nieces Matthew, Samantha, Darren, Mitchell, Alexandra and Ian.

John took great pride in a successful career within the automotive industry, including the establishment of his own company. He enjoyed his career immensely, travelled extensively and made many friends along the way. He resided in Halifax, Edmonton, Montreal and Toronto and often reminisced about his times in these cities.

He was a character and always wanted to see to it that all were having a good time. John had a heart for everyone and was especially devoted to his family. He will always be remembered for his generosity and quick wit.

No services or visitations are planned.

Remembrances may be made to a charity of choice.
