JONES, Edward James - 1924 – 2018 Passed away peacefully at Scarborough General Hospital (Birchmount) on Thursday, April 26th at the age of 93.
Beloved husband for 62 years of Joyce (Smith). Loving father of Catherine.
Predeceased by brothers Bob Jones (Audrey), Roy Jones and brother-in-law Kenneth Ball.
Edward will be missed by his sisters-in-law June Jones (of Kingston) and Mary Ball (of Toronto).
Dear uncle of Allen Jones, Jim Ball (Anne), Christine Pook (Jim) and Douglas Perkins-Ball (Michelle). Ed was employed by IBM for 35 years.
A proud Veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces, Ed served as a medic, transporting the injured back and forth across the Atlantic.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 1st at one o'clock at Ogden Funeral Home (4164 Sheppard Ave. E., Scarborough).
Visitation will take place one our prior to service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Salvation Army.
