LAGO, Joan Gwendolyn (nee TINNEY) - Passed away on Friday, April 27, 2018 at North York General Hospital, one week before her 93rd birthday.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband John Edward Lago.
She is survived by her children Barbara Sayegh, Richard and Jennifer Snow (Steve); grandchildren Shanna, Mark and great-grandchild Madeline.
Also survived by dear niece Sharon Galloway (Robert) and many nieces and nephews. Joan was born in Toronto and moved to Montreal with her husband and children in 1957.
She moved back with her family in 1971 where she remained until her passing.
She was very passionate about life, talented with her hands and enjoyed many other interests with family and friends. Some of those interests included art, piano, bridge, sports and many church and community activities.
Joan was very well-read and had a playful side with a great sense of humour.
She was a loving, kind, and talented woman who gave so much and will be forever and deeply missed by her loving family.
A Celebration of Joan's Life will take place on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at the Humphrey Funeral Home, 1403 Bayview Avenue. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by a service at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow. Private Interment.
