SWETLISHNOFF, Peter - November 14, 1931 – October 27, 2020
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Peter Swetlishnoff, who died at home of natural causes, just shy of his 89th birthday.
Beloved husband of the late Reta (nee Rinn) for over 50 years, Peter will be dearly missed by his two children; Reg Sheen (Karen) and Shelley Jones (Mike), and his four adoring grandchildren, Matthew and Nicole; Ashley and Christopher.
Peter was predeceased by his brother Jack, and his parents, Mary and Peter.
Born in Canora, Saskatchewan, on November 14, 1931, Peter ventured to Toronto and began his career in 1951 as a lab analyst, working for both Aluminum Co. of Canada and later, Columbian Carbon.

CRANDALL, Bert Franklin - Bert Franklin Crandall, 85, died after a long struggle with cancer on October 27, 2020, in Toronto.
He is remembered as a sweet soul and a proper gentleman, with an endearingly quirky, dry sense of humor; welcoming, accepting and kind.

COOPER, Eva Maria (Gabriel) - It is with deep sadness that the family of Eva Cooper announce her passing after a brief battle with cancer on October 27, 2020.
Eva was the quintessential family matriarch. A master baker, cook, gardener, seamstress, and organizer, she was regal but warm, reserved, yet confident and articulate in expressing her opinions.
Eva met Milton, the love her life, on a flight from Florida to Toronto while working as a flight attendant. They recently celebrated 60 years of marriage, surrounded by their family, continuing to inspire all with their love and commitment to one another.

BUTLER, James Joseph - (April 17, 1920 - October 26, 2020) -
After 100 glorious years, peacefully at Balmoral Retirement Residence, Collingwood, Ontario.
Loving husband of the late Dorothy (nee Gillespie), father to James (Sandra) and Michael (Valerie).
Doting grandfather to Jennifer Olivieri (Derek), Sean (deceased), and Jason (Jessica). Proud great grandfather to Liam and Raegan Olivieri and Scarlett and Harper Butler.
Our Dad was born in Edinburgh, Scotland and at the age of two, immigrated to Canada, settling in Montreal with his parents and three siblings.
When the Second World War broke out he enlisted and became a member of one of the first Royal Canadian Blackwatch Regiments to fight on foreign soil. He served his country overseas for five years and was wounded in action.

LENCHAK, Jacqueline Marie Helene 'Jacquie' - It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Jacquie on Monday October 26th, 2020 at Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie, ON.
She was born in 1933 in Ansonville ON. Later, parents Diana and “Joe” Marchand moved her and her sister Pierrette (Chaperon of Sault Ste. Marie, ON) to North Bay ON. It was in during a stay in Toronto she met her soulmate John, they married in 1956 and started a life together.
Sadly, John passed away in 1988 at a young age leaving a tremendous void in her life and heart. Their marriage had brought four children to them and now four families as an extension of their life bond.

HENDERSON, Hugh 'Glen' - Glen passed peacefully on October 26, 2020 at the Sunnybrook Veterans Centre in Toronto. He passed in his 95th year, with dignity and on his own terms.
He was predeceased by his wife Charmion and his son Mark. Glen was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.
He leaves behind daughters Catharine Norton (Mark Norton), Jane Henderson (Felix Klajner) and grandchildren Christopher Norton and Alison Norton.

AGUIAR, Luis 'Cleto' Nicolau - With great sadness we announce that Luis Cleto Nicolau Aguiar (1943 - 2020) passed on Monday, October 26th, 2020 in Toronto, Canada.
His was a life dedicated to making people smile both on the inside and out. His giving nature was worn on his sleeve and felt by all in his path.
Cleto was born in Goa, India and he grew up Bombay. As a teenager he painted altar cloths for Churches, created oil paintings and was a singer in jazz bands. He was gifted in both, the visual and musical arts - something he practiced throughout his life.

Mudzie was the beloved wife of Robert Leon Davy (predeceased).
She is survived by her daughter, Carol Browne (Cornel) and she was predeceased by her son, Frederick. She leaves behind her grandchildren, Abigail Browne Niemkiewicz (Michał), Duane Browne (Mellisa) along with her G-G (great-grand), Imani; and step-daughter Daisy Davy and step-grand daughter, Jose Davy.

SOLOMITA, Lucia (nee Cerullo) - (1931 - 2020) - It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Lucia Solomita on October 26, 2020.
Beloved wife of Salvatore, and cherished mother of Serina (Orlando). She will forever be remembered as a loving “Nonna” to Rachel and Andrew.
She will be missed by her nieces, nephews and extended family in Canada and Italy and she will be forever remembered as the kind and loving woman she was.

Marie lived her student years in Toronto, graduating from Eastern Commerce.
She married her childhood sweetheart, Ernie Lane (Keswick), formerly of Toronto, in 1954, 66 years ago.
In 1992, she retired from Litton Systems Canada, having started off at Ivan S. Grey Company.
At first, living in Malton, came her daughters Mindy Richardson of London and Kathy (Paul Lefebvre) of Willow Beach. They later moved to Bolton, then Keswick.

With his amazing wife Elizabeth (Lou) by his side, Craig passed away peacefully at Princess Margaret Hospital following a brief battle with cancer.
Heartbroken by this significant loss, we are also comforted by the fact that he is no longer suffering.
Loving husband of Elizabeth Scott (nee Weir) and brother to Sandra Carlson (Dave).
Predeceased by his parents, Mac and Nadia Scott, his brother Gary Scott and his girls Betty & Daisy.
Craig was the favourite son-in-law of Janet Weir and brother-in-law to Kenneth Weir (Jane Davey).
