Poli JohnPOLI, John - (1935 - 2020) - It is with deep sadness to announce the passing of John Poli on November 2, 2020.

John was the fourth of five children Ennio (Costanza), Enzo (Bianca) Igea (Pietro) & Quinto (Maria).

Beloved husband to Luigia (nee Del Din). Loving father to Manuela & father-in-law to Rino Dell’Agnese.

John (Giovanni) Poli was born on September 5, 1935 in the town of Sequals (Friuli) Italy to Guerrino & Maria (nee Nonis) Polli.

He moved to Luxembourg in his late teens where he became a welder. In 1959 he followed his sister, Igea and brother-in-law Pietro to Toronto, Canada. He settled in to his new home while attending Central Tech and acquired his auto mechanic’s licence.

In 1962 he went back to Friuli to wed Luigia Del Din. With his new wife he made Canada his home and from that point on cars were his life - from mechanic to service manager.

John was a dedicated and loving father and husband. His wicked sense of humour, kind heart and quick smile will be sadly missed.

Arrangements (RESPECTING COVID RESTRICTIONS) are with Ward funeral home, Weston chapel.
