Swystun PaulinaSWYSTUN, Paulina - Paulina was peacefully called into the arms of her heavenly Father in the stillness of early morning on Thursday, November 26, 2020.

Beloved daughter and sister. Fun-loving friend. Gifted teacher. Supportive colleague. Beautiful woman. Loving wife. Creative mother. Nurturing grandma. Amazing cook. Devoted Catholic. Proud Ukrainian. Storyteller extraordinaire. Inspiring person.

After a life well lived into her 80s, Paulina is reunited with her husband and soul-mate, Marian. Left with incredible memories are her children and grandchildren: daughter Christine and Ihor Witowych, son Fr. Bohdan and Zenia Swystun; and grandchildren: Sophia, Ivan, Nicholas and Joseph.

Also remembering her lovingly are her many nieces, nephews and cousins in Canada, Ukraine and Poland.

Our mama and babtsia is painfully missed; but her life, earthly and everlasting, is celebrated. You left a legacy of love. Вічная Пам'ять!

A special thank to you the administration and staff at the Ivan Franko Home (Toronto) for the their exceptional care during the last chapter of our mama and babtsia’s journey.

Funeral observances are private in keeping with pandemic restrictions. Arrangements with  Newediuk funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations in Paulina’s memory are being accepted by Ivan Franko Home (Toronto) and St. Demetrius Church.
