ROBERTS, Wayne   - September 30, 1944 - January 20, 2021

Wayne lived joyfully and expansively to the end and died peacefully at home, six months after being diagnosed with leukemia.

He was a beloved husband and soulmate to Lori (Stahlbrand), an engaged and compassionate father to Jaime and Anika, an adoring grandfather to Dorothy and godfather to Ralfe and Adam (Sacco), and a true friend and mentor to many.

Wayne was a thought leader, activist, writer, scholar, and social media guru in the fields of food policy, sustainability, labour, and social justice.

He taught us how to live with integrity and build community as he worked to create a more equitable, ecological, and joyful world.

Special thanks to the dedicated healthcare workers and the many friends who rallied around Wayne and the family - we felt your love and support, even during a pandemic.

A celebration of Wayne's life will be livestreamed on Sunday, February 21, 2021 at 2 p.m. EST at on facebook.com/ Dr.WayneRoberts.
