CASSELLA, Michele - Died peacefully on Sunday, March 7, 2021 at the age of 81.
He is now reunited with his loving wife Antonietta.
He will always be loved, and cherished by his daughters Enza (Joe), Anna (Frank), Silvana (Brett), and Angela (Mike).
Adored grandfather to Michael, Anthony, Alex, Luca, Vanessa, Sara, Charlie, and Bentley.
He will also be missed by his fur babies Rocky and Simon.
Michele arrived in Canada with his beloved wife Anotonietta, and infant daughter Enza in 1966. Michele had a steely determination to build a life for his family and what a life he built! Michele quickly forged a career in the construction industry. An industry where he was valued and admired by his peers for his tireless work ethic, and loved by his colleagues for his compassion, loyalty and humour.
At the same time, Michele welcomed the addition to his family of three more daughters, Anna, Silvana and Angela.
Over the years, Michele’s family grew further, with the addition of his beloved grandchildren, Michael, Anthony, Alex, Luca, Vanessa and Sara. It is immeasurable the joy these children brought to Michele through his later years.
His generosity, his depth of love, his loyalty, his work ethic, his amazing heart warming grin and his quiet humour was loved and admired by all who had the good fortune to know him. Often, michele would tease us with the phrase “uno mancante” (one person less), a sly grin on his face, when talking about his passing.
But in reality, Michele’s life was one beautiful person more.
Funeral Arrangements with DeMarco Funeral Visitation Centre, Woodbridge on Tuesday, March 9th, 2021 by appointment only. The service will take place in the chapel on Wednesday, March 10th, 2021. All attendees wanting to attend the funeral service must be scheduled.
