Carvalho IsauraCARVALHO, Isaura - It is with great sadness that our family announces that Isaura passed away on Sunday, March 7, 2021 in the comfort of her home and with her children by her side.

At age 95, her passing comes just over 5 years after the death of her beloved husband, Domingos Carvalho (January 06, 2016).

She was cherished by her children, Annabel (& Nelson) and John (& Helia), as well as the proud "Vovo" to Sara (& Mathew), Ryan (& Dina), Brandon, and Jordan.

She will also be greatly missed by her many brother and sister in-laws, as well as nieces and nephews in Canada, Portugal and France.

Predeceased by her parents Alberto Paolo Coelho and Silvina De Graca Pereira, brother Joao Manuel Coelho and sister Alice Barbosa.

After getting married by proxy, she emigrated from Geraz do Minho, Portugal in 1960 to join her husband and start a new adventure building the foundation for their family here in Toronto. Together, with courage and optimism, they carved-out a new life in Canada eventually bringing over their brothers and sisters, forming a large extended family.

The memories she made will never be forgotten and the love she shared will be felt forever. She will be missed beyond words but we are comforted in knowing that our parents are together again.Go dance with daddy, mom, he’s waiting for you.

She'll be laid to rest with her husband in Mississauga following a private ceremony for immediate family due to COVID regulations.
In lieu of flowers, friends wishing to honor Isaura are invited to make a donation to her favorite charity Operation Smile.
