McColman ErnestMcCOLMAN, Ernest Shane - (August 11, 1963 – March 16, 2021) - It is with great sadness and loving memories that we announce the passing or our son, brother and friend, Ernest Shane McColman after a long and lingering health problem.

He leaves behind his family: mother Madeline McColman (Oster), father, Patrick Russell McColman and sisters, Patricia Dunnet (Doug) of Atikokan, ON and Cynthia Fitzgerald (Travis) of Kindcardine, ON.

He was predeceased by his sister Victoria Rengeite (Richard). He will be remembered by his nieces and nephews: Kennedy, Avery, Liam (Cynthia) and Cameron, Cassidy (Patricia).

He leaves behind dear friend and confidante Ms. Sylvia McFarland of Niagara Falls, ON. She was his companion and friend for many years.

Ernest had a second family that helped him grow in his teen years, the Olivers of Skead, ON. He spent many weekends learning the art and trade of trapping. He went on to become a trapper and enjoyed the outdoors. He became ill and found the work trying and moved into the city of Toronto operating a home business selling antiques. The last few years he suffered with complications due to diabetes.

His last wishes were to thank the many PSW’s who attended him at his home and the care given to him by the nurses and doctors in hospital.

His life was to short, but he did what was most precious to him and lived his life to the fullest. We wish eternal rest for dearest Ernest as we know he will be in good hands when he meets his sister Victoria. God speed. Arrangements entrusted with Ogden funeral home.
