Lacorte PatriciaLACORTE, Patricia Elsie (Hendrick) - (October 9th, 1943 - March 16th, 2021) -

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Patricia Elsie Lacorte. Peacefully at Newmarket Health Centre, on Tuesday March 16th, 2021, in her 77th year.

Beloved mother of Michael Lacorte and wife Andreza Batista and proud Nana of Rebecca Lacorte. Sister of Wendy (Ron), Alf Lunaitis, and united in heaven with her dear brother Charlie Hendrick.

Survived by sister-in-law and friend, Anne Hendrick. Beloved aunt of Bill, Laurie, Stacey, Leslie, James, Paul, Andrea and Elaina. Daughter of the late Charles and Mary Hendrick.

Patricia was born on October 9th, 1943. She was a kind, spiritual, and gentle woman with a lifetime of many passions and an adventurous spirit. She believed life was to be experienced and captured her most treasured moments through her beautiful photography.

Intelligence and passion for medicine sparked her career that began as an X-Ray Technician at East General in Toronto and culminated as a CT Operator of the scanner she opened at Southlake Hospital in Newmarket.

Patricia was an experienced and avid skier who loved ski trips with her son and friends. Her life was active with windsurfing, tennis, squash, and good times with friends and family. She loved time at the cottage at Preston Lake and nature which she captured artfully in her pictures. Patricia generously volunteered her time with the Ontario SPCA.

Patricia's passion for gardening was known by all and in the Hendrick family tradition, she shared her green thumb with all who crossed her path.

In moments such as this, the only comfort lies in cherishing the many happy memories of her life.

“Reach deep within your memory, to a shining moment in time, retrieving every sentiment, to reclaim the sublime. The value of our memories is a store of wealth untold, a smile on a cloudy day, and a fire to feed the soul.”
- “The Value of Memories”

Arrangements entrusted with Roadhouse and Rose funeral home, Newmarket. A memorial service will be held in May. (date to be announced). Interment at St. John's Cemetery in Newmarket.

Special thanks to the caring staff at Newmarket Health Centre.
