CARTWRIGHT, James Barry - 1945 - 2021
It is with profound heartache and sadness that we announce the passing of James Barry Cartwright in Oakville on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 in his 75th year, after losing his battle with cancer.
Born in Hamilton, Ontario in 1945, Barry leaves behind his beloved wife of 54 years, Angela, and his 3 sons, Philip (Kristina), Michael and David.
Barry will be deeply missed by his loving grandkids Lucy, Peter, Audrey, Charlie, Rebecca and Jillian.
Barry is survived by his brother Tom (Francis), his nephew Paul (Cynthia, Sarah, Jack) and predeceased by his parents Doris, Earnest and his brother Jack.
He will be forever remembered for his devotion to his family and being a great teacher, especially to his 3 boys, whom he would do anything for.
The family would like to thank the staff at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital for caring for him in his final days.
Due to the current restrictions, there will not be a funeral service.
We will always carry your memory in our hearts.
