ROSE, Richard - Rose passed away on Friday, June 19, 2020, peacefully in her sleep in the West Shore Village Retirement Home in Port Perry, Ontario, where she spent the last year of her life with her best friend of 55 years, Diane Goodman.
Rose was a Teacher /Librarian in Whitby, Ontario in her earlier years, before retiring to spend her remaining years in Nova Scotia with her sisters and brothers and with many visits back to PEI where she was born and which she loved so much.

She battled Lewy Body Dementia Disease for more than a decade. We take great comfort in knowing she is no longer suffering and has been reunited with our late father, Robert (Bob) Hodder.

She was blessed with her grandchildren; Kyle, Angelina, Keith, Kailey, Heather and Chelsea, whom she doted on and loved fiercely.
Sister of Patricia and Allan and predeceased by siblings Leo, Clara, Helen, Kevin, Ernest, and Gordon, and grandson Alexander. She was a beautiful and intelligent woman who battled her demons head-on and loved her family beyond measure.

Born May 14th 1945 and now with his new bestie Jesus since June 14th, 2020.
Gordon/Gord/Dad/Grandad will be missed by his loving wife, Norma, his children Kevin (Tara) and Kelly; grandchildren Bryan, Quinn, and Nathan; and his sisters Betty (Dominic) and Donna.
Gordon had a love of family, gardens, games, and sports.
Gordon was an avid sports fiend. He enjoyed watching and listening to hockey (the “make believes”), golf, baseball, tennis, and bowling.
When he wasn’t watching/listening to sports on T.V., he enjoyed playing hockey as a goaltender and thought he was great. The scores proved otherwise. Lol.
