FRAZER, Lacey  -  It is with sadness that we share the news of Frazer Lacey’s passing.

He died surrounded by his family in Lakeridge Health Port Perry on Thursday, August 8, 2019.

It is with gratitude we celebrate the wonderful life he lived.

Frazer has left a beautiful legacy in the hearts and minds of many people.

Sharing 63 years of marriage with Margaret.

Together they raised four children: Eddie, Eva (Robert), Michael (Mary-Jo), and Megan, and celebrated the growth of their family as they became grandparents to Joshua (Leanne), Matthew, Sommer, Adam, Ned (Michelle), Victoria (Duncan), John, Eva, Caylee (Scott), Joey, Jeannie (Dan), Glenna (Jordan), and great grandparents to Cassidy, Demari, Tamia, Elaina, and Jovanna. Rev. Frazer Lacey ministered to countless people during his 50+ years of ministry in the United Church of Canada.

He will be remembered for the care he showed others, his passion for preaching, and all the ways he showed his love for his family and friends.

The family of Rev. Frazer Lacey will receive friends at the Scugog Island United Church on Saturday, August 17th from 2 – 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m.

A Service to celebrate his life will be held in the Church on Sunday, August 18th at 2 p.m.

If desired, gifts of remembrance may be made by cheque to the Scugog Island United Church or St. Stephen’s United Church in Oshawa.

and those who lead many to righteousness shall shine like the stars forever and ever.”
