Doyle KathleenDOYLE, Emma Kathleen Doyle  - In the early morning of April 22, Kate passed away from the complications from a seizure nearly a week earlier.

The staff at Lakeridge Oshawa, Lakeridge Ajax and Toronto General used all of their skills and talent to try to save her but they were unsuccessful.
Kate will be painfully missed forever by her mom and dad, Lynn and Todd Doyle.

Her closest friends Mary and Tabitha and many other friends will miss her so deeply as she was a shining light and dedicated friend who was as giving a person as we have met in our lifetimes.
Nanna (Ann Crow) and Grampa (Bob Doyle) are going to miss everything that Kate was to them.

Uncle Glenn Josephson, Auntie Christine Josephson, Auntie Shelley Crow, cousin Mason, cousin Tyler and Mallory will treasure the time spent with Kate in person and across the distance in whatever communication they could muster.

The Grumpy Old Men (GOM) took Kate under their wing at every chance they could at our car meets when we were able to get the TBird she loved out for a spin.

They will miss her sense of humour and her ability to bring a smile to just about everyone when they see her. We think her work colleagues will miss her creativity, her concern for everyone and their well-being.

Kate used all her best maternal instinct with beloved kitty babies, Luna and Weenie.
Kate was predeceased by her Poppa (Charles Crow) and her Gramma (Elva Doyle).

Kate was Poppa's little Coppertop and their reunion will be a busy one to share all the stories and events since his passing.

Kate was Gramma Doyle's mini-me with so much in common. Kate was a relentless networker who seemed to never forget a name or a face and, like Gramma, everyone knew who she was and looked forward to seeing her because of the warmth she would bring them.
Kate's remains will be interred at St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery at the intersection of Thornton and Columbus.
Thank you to all of you who have expressed your care and concern for Kate while Lynn and Todd tried to support her through this difficult journey.  Your efforts were appreciated so much by all of us.
According to Kate's wishes, there will be no funeral. Instead, there will be a celebration of life on April 27, 2024 from 1pm to 4pm at SIKORSKY HALL, 1551 Stevenson Rd.N., Oshawa.  We will be in the lower hall with access from the rear of the building.  In honour of Kate's wishes, bright colours only for her celebration please.
