PORTER, Atticus Michael Richard - Unexpectantly passed away in his peaceful sleep on Monday, August 19, 2019.
Left behind to remember his sweet soul and beautiful smile are his parents Terence Porter and Melissa Springstead; his brother, Tobias and his sister, Acelynn.
Atticus will also be loved and missed by Grandma Anne Campbell, Grandpa Rick Porter and Grandma Josee Bertand; Nanny Patty Springstead, and Grandpa Leo Daigle; Uncle Cory and Auntie Amy Springstead; Aunt Michelle Porter, and also his cousins McKenzie, Logyn and Justin Springstead.
Atticus, you were such a bright shining light and a sweet soul. T
hose blue eyes like no other and your beautiful smile would light up the room everywhere you went. You touched so many hearts and were such an inspiration during your short time here on Earth with us. Goodbye Boobear, we will love you always and miss you forever.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Sick Kids, Grandview Children’s Centre, Holland Bloorview, all of Atticus’ teachers & teaching staff, nurses & nursing staff, and all of his followers on Advocate for Atticus.
Visitation will be held at the Morris Funeral Chapel, Bowmanville on Wednesday August 28, 2019 from 12 – 2 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held in the chapel at 2:00 p.m. Burial to follow in Newcastle.
If desired, Memorial Donations may be made to Sick Kids Foundation, Grandview Children’s Centre, or Epilepsy Durham Region.
