JEFFREY, Linda Diane - Peacefully, on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Bowmanville, at age 74.
Linda (nee Theurer), beloved wife of the late William Jeffrey. Loving mother of Greg Jeffrey of Scugog Island and Gord Jeffrey and his wife Leanne of Bowmanville.
Loved grandmother of Tyler, Danny, Dean (Jess), Dylin, Dustin, Travis, Destyni and Delaney and great grandmother of Layla. Dear sister of Arlene Lach and her husband Joe and the late Jack Theurer and sister-in-law of the late Ivan Jeffrey and the late Bonnie Bell.
Linda was the matriarch of the Jeffrey family. A thoughtful woman, with a calming presence and the ability to take care of everyone around her.
She loved her family, caring for her husband, William, when he was ill up until he passed away in 2016. She loved her grandchildren and hosting family dinners which included preparing a special dish for everyone at the table. She enjoyed gardening and crocheting but you always knew when she was done with it for the day as she would walk away from it unfinished.
Private arrangements. A Celebration of Life will be planned once COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted.
If desired, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Lakeridge Health Centre in Whitby (Diaslysis).
