FICE, Herman Henry - Passed away quietly into the presence of his Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, early on Wednesday, November 3rd, 2021 at Hillsdale Estates, Blueberry Hill at age 97.
Herman was born in Bowmanville on January 20, 1924 to the late Wesley and Ida Fice.
Beloved husband of his first wife, the late Elsie (Rahm) (1993) and his second wife, the late Mary (Pattison) (2021).
Pre-deceased by his brothers, Ray (Sadie) Fice and Elwood Fice. Survived by his sister-in-law, Reta (Forsey) Fice.
Loved deeply by his two children - Paul (Wanda) Fice of Bowmanville and Joanne (David) Stoliker of Oshawa.
Dearest Poppy to Meredith (Nathan) Dinnick, Morgan Stoliker (Cody Gouldburn) and Cory Fice. Dear Great-Poppy to twins Eli and Lily Stoliker and "the boy", Wesley Dinnick.
Cherished step-dad to June (Sid) Hoiting and David (Jen) Shepherd, all of Burlington. Dear Grandpa to Meaghan (Brad) McPherson, Robyn Hoiting (Ryan), Leah Hoiting (Mike), Colin (Jessie) Shepherd, Andrew, T.J., Kaitlyn and Jamie. Great-Grandpa to Brayden, Cohen and Talia McPherson.
Uncle Herman will be greatly missed by Linda and Dennis Brown, Judy and Terry Devitt, Alan Fice, David and Tracy Fice and Sandra and Gord Weir.
Also loved and remembered by his friends at Pine Ridge Bible Chapel, Courtice as well as family and friends in Ontario, Mexico and the U.S.
Heartfelt thanks and love to the staff at Hillsdale Estates, Blueberry Hill - his Doctors, nurses, caregivers, physiotherapists, dining staff and maintenance staff. You are all Angels!
Private family service held on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at 11 a.m., then general visitation from 1 - 3 p.m. at Morris Funeral Chapel, Bowmanville.
