Knibbs BarryKNIBBS, Barry Page, B.A.M. Ed  (1932 – 2021)  -  November 26, 1932December 9, 2021

Barry went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 9th, 2021. 

He was predeceased by his parents Harold and Muriel. 

Beloved husband of Lorraine (nee Van Orman) for 62 years.

Loving father of Wendy (Dennis), Vanessa and Robbie (Jenn).

Cherished grandfather of Sarah (Paul), Nathan, Ava, Jada and Jake, and his great grandchildren Ryan, Ryleigh and Justin. 

He leaves a brother Paul in Surrey and several nieces and nephews. 

Barry was assistant to the chief medical aid officer at Workers Compensation Board for 8 years before entering the teaching profession.  He taught in Scarborough for 29 years.

Barry’s passion was to sing praises to God starting as a boy soprano from age 11 – 17 at St. Simons Anglican Church in Toronto.

As a baritone soloist he sang at many churches in Toronto, Scarborough and Whitby. 

Now he will sing with the Angel Choir.  After retirement he volunteered with many organizations and was nominated for the Mayor’s Award. 

A private family service was held at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West, Oshawa (905-721-1234). 

Interment was held at MOUNT LAWN MEMORIAL GARDENS

Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
