BRASSEUR, Marjorie Melissa - March 19, 1928 – February 6, 2022
It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of Marjorie Melissa Brasseur, of Whitby on Sunday, February 6, 2022 at the age of 93.
Marjorie was born in Toronto, Ontario on March 19, 1928.
Daughter of Bert and Elsie Lee of Toronto and predeceased by her husband Thomas (Tom) William Brasseur.
She will be forever missed by her sons Wayne (the late Marylin) and Tom (Chris).
Loving Grannie to Jason (Cheryl), Kevin (Dawna), Amanda (Matt) and Steve (Jeenie).
Great Grannie to Samson, Katie, Isabelle, Abigail, Megan, Evan, Henry, Jaelyn, Easton, Vale and Jax.
Marjorie was a past resident of the Colonial Retirement Residence and enjoyed her time there participating in their activities and events.
Marjorie always had a smile on her face and loved nothing better than to tell stories of when both her and her husband Tom were younger.
She also enjoyed many trips down to the Kingston area with their travel trailer for visits with friends and family vacations. Marjorie also spent many an hour playing her organ or listening to the old standards on the family stereo from her younger days.
A funeral service for Marjorie will be held Friday, February 11, 2022 at 2:30 PM at the OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West, Oshawa, Ontario L1J 2L4.
