HARDING, Mildred (Milly) May   - Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Thursday, February 10, 2022, at the age of 88.

Beloved wife of Williston since 1964.

Loving mother of Sandra and Andrea and son-in-law Dieter Bornemann.

Cherished stepmother and step- grandmother of Anthony Rogers, Jackie, Buddy and Betty-Ann.

Predeceased by her parents Rhoda and Gustavus Morgan and her siblings Harold, Herman, Bernice, and Joyce.

Dear aunt of Neil, Dean, Ken, Hopeton, David, Bobby, Brian and Orville and the late Sharon Morgan, Garth, and Sharon McLean. Great-aunt to Jay, Danielle, Candy and Inga Brit.

Loving pet grandmother to Sophie-Ann, Sebastian, Sherlock, Aurora and the late Skipper, Sarah, and Sam. She will be missed by the Morgan, Harding, and White families.

Milly was born in Jamaica and trained as a midwife/nurse at Broadgreen Hospital in Liverpool, England.

She was an active member of Westminster United Church in Whitby. She worked with the Stroke Group and Wellness Committee.

Milly also volunteered as a member of the Restorative Youth Justice Committee of Durham and a Club with a Difference. Her hobbies/passions were gardening, quilting, and knitting.

Milly loved and was loved by all her knew her. She was known for her kindness, laughter, generosity, strong faith in God, hugs, open door, good food and a table where there was always room for one more. She was a wonderful reflection of God's Love.

Friends may call at the Mount Lawn Funeral Home, on Friday, February 25, 2022 from 1-3 and 6-9 p.m. Funeral Service to be held on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Westminster United Church, 1850 Rossland Road East, Whitby.
