HERON, Ruth Louisa (nee DELANEY) - 1928 - 2022 Peacefully passed into the presence of her Lord and Saviour on March 24, 2022.
Born on October 28, 1928, in Scarborough, Ontario, Ruth was the fifth of six children of Thomas and Louisa Delaney (née Miller). Ruth married Arnold Heron in 1954 and they began their family shortly thereafter.
Ruth was a devoted and faithful wife and mother with a deep passion for Christ.
Ruth provided steady and wise counsel as a business partner in the successful development of Timbren Industries. She was known to many as a kind and gentle friend who patiently listened.

Ruth passed away only nine days after Arnold. Ruth leaves behind a daughter, Brenda (Neil Hodgson), a son, Tim (Nadine), grandchildren, Andrew Hodgson (Laura), Nathan Hodgson (Suzie), Valérie Heron (Aris Anastasakis), Marc Heron (Nikolina Nolan), Julia Heron, Émilie Heron, great-grandchildren - Coral, Poppy and Maggie Hodgson.
The family will receive friends to share their memories of Ruth at the McEachnie Funeral Home, Ajax, ON, on Sunday, April 10, 2022 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. A private family Funeral Service and Burial will be held on Monday, April 11, 2022.
