COUTTS, Joan Margaret Coutts - It is with deep sadness that we say good-bye to Joan Margaret Coutts, who passed away peacefully in her 80th year at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Wednesday, November 30, 2022.
Born in Oshawa on December 1, 1941 to Leon and Ina Parks, Joan is predeceased by her husband of 40 years, David Coutts, her brothers Lawson (Muriel) and Stanley (Mary), and her sister, Betty (Erhard).
She was a loving mother to Charlene (Wayne), Stephen, Tracey (Jason), Alex (Christine), and Heather (Gary); proud grandmother to Derek (Alicia), Jeff, Jenna, Adam, and Cassidy; and good friend to many, but held a special place in her heart for her dear friend, Doreen.
Joan will be remembered for her dedicated volunteerism at Cedardale United Church and her years of service in the Shoppers Drug Mart pharmacy at Lake Vista Square.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Joan’s Celebration of Life at Mount Lawn Funeral Home, 21 Garrard Road, Whitby, on Sunday, December 11, 2022 from 3 - 5pm.
