DALE, June Elizabeth (Proctor) Dale - September 21, 1944 - December 2, 2022
June succumbed to her chronic health conditions, on Friday December 2, 2022.
Cherished mother to Erica Dale (Brian Simpson) and Andrea Dale (Victor Doyle); and loving grandmother to Conor and Ewan Doyle.
She is survived by her siblings, Gordon Proctor (Mae) and Ethelwyn Rempel (Al).
She will be missed by her extended family and lifelong friends.
A lifelong teacher professionally (YRDSB) and as an individual, June led by example, always standing up (vocally) for what she believed in.
Incredibly artistic and talented, June was active in the Aurora Art community in the 1980’s and 1990’s, where she displayed her artwork, both beautiful and disturbing, in shows and competitions.
In her later years, June was a doting ‘dog grandma’ to countless rescue dogs while living at her hobby farm in Uxbridge.
For her pets, she made them coats to keep them warm and steps when their legs could no longer jump.
Unapologetically authentic, there was very little June couldn’t do!
Incredibly generous, June set a standard of strength of character that is rarely seen. Her presence will be greatly missed.
Indeed, the best is yet to come.
