CAREY, Carl Joseph Carey -
SEPTEMBER 17, 1932 – JULY 10, 2023
Passed away peacefully in his 91st year at Hospice Peterborough.
Predeceased by his wife Beverley of 65 years. Devoted father of Diane (Dean), Mike (Sheila), and Pat (Mike).
Loving grandfather of Ryan (Kelly), Jena (Mark), Jordan (Sara), Dana (Jacob), Justin (Rebecca), and Nathan (Meaghann).
Proud great grandfather of Amelia, Bennett and Cooper.
Predeceased by his parents George and Mary Carey, and his siblings Jerry, Anna, Stan and Ron.
Carl lived a good long life and made many sacrifices to benefit his family. Carl and Beverley loved to travel the world on their many cruises. He spent many years volunteering and spending quality time with family and friends telling stories.
Cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held.
Arrangements entrusted to OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234). A celebration of Carl’s life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Hospice Peterborough would be appreciated.
