WHITEHEAD, Jane Lorraine - Passed away a valiant battle with cancer at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on August 2, 2023 at age of 79.
Loving wife of Bruce Whitehead.
Mother of Lori, David, Michael and Philip.
Loving grandmother of 12 grandchildren. Loving sister to Elsie, Joan, and Sally.
Jane will also be missed by many extended family and friends.
The family wish to express their heartfelt gratitude to the caring doctors and nursing staff on the 4F Wing at the Lakeridge Health Oshawa for compassion and professionalism shown to Jane and her family.
As per her own wishes, no formal funeral services will take place. A private interment will be held at a later date.
Arrangements entrusted to THORNTON CEMETERY and FUNERAL CENTRE, 1200 Thornton Road North, Oshawa (South Of Taunton Road and off of Dryden Blvd, 905- 579- 6787).
Donations will be gratefully accepted for R.S. McLaughlin Durham Regional Cancer Centre.
