KOONGEBEHARRY, Goomtie (Shanti) - September 16, 1948 - January 1, 2024
Passed away at Markham Stouffville Hospital on Monday January 1st, 2024 .
She leaves behind her sisters Dularie - Dooley (Duane) Doak, Basmatie, and brother Deo, Special Niece Kami Doak and long time friend Ed Ostroskie along with many other nephews and nieces.
She is predeceased by her sisters Rampiarie, Birjie, Tano, Gain, Ghago, Dede and brothers Mattan and Harridath.
Visitation at BARNES MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 5295 Thickson Rd. N. Whitby on Thursday January 4th, from 11:00 am until time of service in the Barnes Chapel Thursday at 12:00 Noon.
Interment will follow at Pine Ridge Cemetery. In memory of Shanti, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Humane Society of Durham Region.
