Lea MaryLEA, Mary Carmen (nee Bugelli) Lea  -

July 16, 1936 - April 19, 2024

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Mary Lea, who left this world on April 19, 2024.

Her life was a testament to love, kindness and generosity to all who knew her.

Born on July 16, 1936, in Malta, Mary immigrated to Canada and settled here with her family.

She soon met and married her late husband Alfredo Lea.

Together they had three children Wilfred, Edwin and Audrey.

Mary loved her family more than anything and always wished for them to be together spending time during holidays.

Mary and Fred spend many winters in Sarasota, Florida during their retirement years and she made friends where ever she was.

Those who knew Mary, and in her later years, cared for Mary, will testify to her caring nature, her enthusiasm, her easy-going nature, and her infectious smile.

Everyone loved Mary.

Mary is survived by her children Wilfred (Kathy), Edwin (Frances) and Audrey (David) and all her grandchildren Molanka, Katie, Lauren, Emily, Adam, Madeline, Owen, Jordan and her great grandchildren Finn, Julia and Oliver.

Though there will be no formal funeral service, we invite those who knew and loved Mary to join us in celebrating her life and legacy at a date in the near future.

We can honour her memory by embracing the values she held-love generosity and kindness towards others.

She will always remain close in our hearts. In her words “Love everybody and they will love you back”.

Online condolences may be shared at armstrongfh.c.
