JARMAN, Elizabeth "Betty" Doreen (nee MAXWELL) - September 28, 1930 - December 4, 2022
It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of our dear mother, Betty Jarman of Peterborough, formerly of Toronto, on Sunday, December 4, 2022, at the age of 92 years.
She was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Mae (Isard) Maxwell; her sisters, Dorothy Beemer and Jean Jolliffe; and her brother, Charles Maxwell. Betty was also predeceased by her beloved husband of 31 years, George Jarman; and her son, Ron Jarman.
Betty will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Lorraine Knowles (Doug) and Nancy Thomson (James); and her daughter-in-law, Janna Guay.
Cherished grandmother of eight and great-grandmother of five.
A Celebration of Betty's Life will be held on Friday, December 16, 2022, at McDougall and Brown Funeral Chapel, 2900 Kingston Rd., Toronto.
Visitation begins at 12:00 p.m., with the service commencing at 1:00 p.m.
Donations in Betty's memory may be made to a Charity of Your Choice.
The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at Peterborough Regional Health Centre, Ward B3, for their support and care.
