ANTHONY, Gail (aka Gail Heggarty) - At home, surrounded by family, our Gail left us December 12, 2023, on her own terms, with the assistance of MAiD.
Her struggle with COPD and lung cancer is now over and she is at peace.
Born in Toronto, December 5, 1946, to the late William and Dorothy Hegarty (nee Faulkner).
She was also predeceased by her sister, Joan Noble; nephew, Mark Noble; and niece, Susan Richardson.
Left to mourn are her devoted and loving daughter, Melanie Anthony (David Noseworthy); her sisters, Carolyn Richardson (late Cliff) and Linda Heggarty (Heather Bradley); along with nieces, nephews and friends.
Cremation has taken place. Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Peel Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St., Mississauga, ON, on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, from 2-4 p.m. with some Words of Remembrance at 3 p.m.
Our thanks/gratitude to all the doctors, nurses, PSW's and MAiD folks who helped her along her path.
