BRENCIS, Skaidrite (nee ZALAIS) - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mother on April 25, 2024 at the age of 100.
She passed away peacefully at Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital with her family by her side.
She was born on February 27, 1924 at Plavinas, Latvia.
Beloved wife of the late Edmunds Julijs Brencis (deceased 2004).
Devoted mother of Raimonds (Cheryll), Pauls, and Andris. Much loved grandmother of Jekabs and Ariana.
She loved to sing and performed in Latvian choirs for most of her life. Prior to her retirement 10 years ago, Skaidrite was a longtime education administrator at the Latvian Saturday School and a proof reader at the newspaper Latvija Amerika.

Funeral services with York Cemetery and Funeral Centre, 160 Beecroft Road, North York. Visitation at 1:00 p.m. followed by the funeral and interment at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 7, 2024.
