LEWIS, Ralph William - We celebrate the life of Ralph William Lewis of Mississauga who passed away suddenly on April 21, 2020 at Credit Valley Hospital at the age of 87.
A longtime employee of Energizer Canada, retiring in 1992 as Manager of Customer Service.
Ralph, "Duke" as he was known by his wife and old friends, is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Catherine Mary (nee Taylor), children: Sandra Antill (Keith), David, and "Papa" to four wonderful grandchildren, Blake, Max, Erin and Nikki.
Predeceased by his infant son, Stephen and his brother, Alan.
In 1962, following in his father's and brother's footsteps, Ralph began a long and distinguished career as a member of the Masonic Order, first in Coverdale Lodge 52, Riverview, New Brunswick.

PETERS, Ethel Eileen - It is with deep sadness that the family of Ethel Eileen Peters (Brown) announce her passing on Tuesday, April 21, 2020, in her 99th year.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband Maurice (Pete) and loving son Murray.
Ethel will be deeply missed by her younger sister Margaret (Peggy) of Waterdown, her sister-in-law Mary Brown of Bowmanville.
She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and their children who have so many fond memories of family picnics and special times.

MACIVER, Margaret Anne - Passed away at McCowan Retirement Residence April 21, 2020.
She was 88 years of age, born May 10, 1931 in Toronto. A dedicated businesswoman through most of her life, she eventually started her own successful market research company.
Margaret had a deep interest in her Scottish Celtic heritage. She was a proud member of Mod-Ontario, which organized annual festivals of Scottish Gaelic music and literature. She also enjoyed concerts, musicals, and attending the theatre. Her favorite group was Celtic Thunder.

McCAULEY, James Howard Blaine "Rusty" - Age 60, of Toronto, Canada, passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2020, at Hawthorne Place Care Centre.
He was born October 20, 1960 in Aurora, Ontario, to Blaine and Shirley McCauley. Rusty was known to be a free spirit, much like the horses he loved to ride.

PORTEOUS, Stewart Wallace - Of Etobicoke, Ontario, died on April 21, 2020, at the age of 96.
Stewart was born on April 12, 1924 in Verwood, Saskatchewan, the second youngest of five brothers.
His first name is likely the maiden name of his father's paternal grandmother, Margaret Stewart.
His father was a manager for the Weyburn Security Bank, but the Great Depression took its toll and he moved the family west from Saskatchewan to Vancouver in May 1936 when Stewart was 12 years old.

TRIMBLE, Bernadine Miriam (nee THORPE) - Bernadine Trimble died peacefully on April 21, 2020, leaving this earth on her own terms and at her chosen time.
She was 99 and 1/2 years of age.
She was first and foremost a wife to Beverley (interned September 11, 2001) and mother to Warren and his wife Gail, Wayne and his wife Patti and Doug and his wife Donna.
She was a grandmother to 8 and a great-grandmother to 11, a sister, aunt and friend.
She knew how to make people feel special, it was a natural talent. She truly lit up any room she walked into with her gracious nature.

LO, Siu Fong Chan - Passed away on April 20, 2020.
Siu Fong Lo (née Chan) was born in Hong Kong on April 4, 1932. Her father was Chung Hoi Chan, a native of Shunde who worked at The Mercantile Bank in Hong Kong (part of HSBC since 1959), and her mother was Yee Ho Ng, also originally from Shunde.
Siu Fong was born seventh of 12 children and grew up during the Second World War. In her teen years, she contracted tuberculosis and convalesced in Tai Po in suburban Hong Kong, where she met nun and MBE Chi Cheung Sik, the founder of renowned Buddhist Tai Kwong Primary and Secondary School.

GORMAN, Donald Herbert - After a long and rich life, died peacefully in his 98th year on April 20, 2020.
Born in Fredericton in 1922, he completed a BSc degree in his native New Brunswick in 1947, after his studies were interrupted by wartime service in the Canadian Navy. After spending 1948-1949 studying economic geology as a graduate student and Beaverbrook scholar at the Royal School of Mines in London, England, he earned a PhD degree at the University of Toronto in 1957 and launched his teaching career.

PERRY, Florence Rita - Our World will never be the same.
On Monday, April 20th, 2020, we lost our Amazing and Dearest Mother, Nana and Great Grandmother due to the Covid-19 virus. Mom was in her 90th year.
Unfortunately, we were unable to be by her side due to this horrible disease, but our Mom knew that we all loved her today, tomorrow and always.
Mom (Florence or Flo) is survived by her Loving Children, Gill (Steve), Trudy (Randy), Len (Pam). She will be deeply missed by all of her Grandchildren Alex (Jeff), Olivia (Nick), Brittany, Victoria and Dalton. Her Great Grandchildren Patrick and James.
