Krane MaryKRANE, Mary Rita  -  Born in Mildmay Ontario, November 30 1927, to Herbert and Clara Weiler, and died peacefully at her home, surrounded by family on August 16, 2018, in her 91st year.

Predeceased by her beloved husband, William Charles Krane, and daughters Barbara Joan, and Anne Elizabeth.

Much loved by her remaining children Peter, Mary Ellen (her long time support), John, Rosemary, and Stephen. Mother-in-law to Darlene, Tracy, Sally, John Butler, and James Rafferty.

Sister of John (Jean) Weiler, Anna Lou (Richard) Evola, Joan (Don) Schnurr, Bernadette Weiler (predeceased), and Rosemary (Michael) Kennedy.

Mom was always interested in and proud of her 12 grandchildren, Andrew and Sarah Krane; Julia, William, and Michael Rafferty; Ella and Charles Krane; Angie, David and Michael Krane; Matthew and Emily Butler; and 5 great grandchildren.

Remembered by her sisters-in-law Eleanor and Jean Krane, many nephews, nieces and dear friends. 

Mom worked at several hospitals as a registered nurse, including St. Mary’s (Kitchener), Bruce County (Walkerton), St. Joseph’s (Toronto), McKellar General (Fort William), and after earning her U of T post pediatrics specialty, she worked at SickKids Hospital (Toronto) where she cared for the most fragile of premature babies. After raising her family, she returned to nursing as a Peel County Public Health Nurse. 

The family will receive friends at the Turner & Porter 'Peel Chapel', 2180 Hurontario St. (South of the Queensway), Mississauga, on Sunday, August 19, 2018 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Catherine of Siena, 2340 Hurontario St. (North of The Queensway), Mississauga, on Monday, August 20, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. Special thanks to Father Ruggiero. Burial to follow in the family plot at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Mildmay, Ontario. 

Mom, we will always hold with us the values you gave, your strong faith, and loving heart. We thank you for your great courage, warm spirit, happy disposition, your concern and care for others, tremendous strength of character and your faith. We love you deeply and will miss you greatly. May you rest in peace.
