Hampson LindaHAMPSON, Linda Louise (nee MARKIN) - (January 29, 1951 - November 3, 2018) -  In loving memory of a spectacular woman Linda Hampson.

Companion to Dennis for 53 years, Linda was the love of Dennis' life.

Linda was a special woman who supported many friends and family over the years and especially her many special senior friends from Pine Tree Senior Centre and Scarborough Centre for Healthy Communities.

Linda was the leader and program coordinator for the seniors' programs and was recognized by the City of Scarborough as a community Urban Hero.

Survived by her husband for the past 49 years, Dennis and by her loving son Jeffrey, daughter-in-law Bonn and grandson Cole.

Linda is also survived by her brother David Markin of Toronto and relatives in Western Canada.

She was predeceased by her mother Margaret (Peggy) and her father Fred Markin. Many thanks to her oncologist Dr. H. Krieger, her primary oncology nurse Laura Lamkie and the fabulous nurses of Oncology at Scarborough General Hospital.

We also wish to thank Dr. F. Boutros and the wonderful nurses of Tower Six Palliative Care at Scarborough General for their past five weeks of loving care to Linda. Linda has been cremated.

Visitation will be held at McDougall and Brown Funeral Home – Scarborough Chapel, 2900 Kingston Road (at McCowan), on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A Memorial service will be held in the funeral home Chapel on Wednesday, November 7th at 11 a.m. with visitation from 10 a.m.
