Helen Firestone, beloved wife of the late Samuel Firestone.
Loving mother of Gail, and Leslie, mother- in-law of Spiro Ramos, Giselle Firestone, and the late Bob Weber.
Devoted and adoring grandmother of Jarryd.
Dear sister to Beatrice Hayman and the late Gilda Rusonik.
Bubbie Helen will be missed by all of her family and friends.
Her love and kindness for others was truly remarkable. She loved nothing more than watching her only grandchild Jarryd grow up and become the special young man he is today.
She was truly one of a kind and her spirit will never be forgotten.
A special thank you to her caregiver Lenny who cared for her for more than 20 years.
She and Sam were married for over 60 years and he has remained in her thoughts always since his death in 2004.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in the Shedlover Young Mens section of Bathurst Lawn Memorial Park. Shiva 346 Betty Ann Drive.
Memorial donations may be made to the North York General Hospital.
