Hesman MaryHESMAN, Mary Mabel  - of Sundridge November 8, 1915 - November 4, 2018

Mary Hesman passed away peacefully at home with her son by her side November 4, 2018, in her 103rd year.

Born Mary M. Pilger on November 8, 1915, to Philip Pilger and Clara Pilger (nee Simms) in Commanda, Ontario.

Mary was predeceased by her husband Walter and first husband Robert McConnell, by her parents Philip and Clara, her sisters Louis (Mrs. Art Henderson), Dora (Mrs. E. McConnell), Rose, (Mrs. George Brooks), Irene (Mrs. Frank Simms), Emma (Mrs. Doug Lee) and brothers Frank Pilger (Leola Jones) and Albert (died in infancy).

Mary is survived by her son, Rick Hesman, many nieces, nephews and grand-nieces and nephews.

The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home, Sundridge on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A service to Celebrate the Life of the late Mrs. Mary Hesman will be conducted at Zion United Church, 49 Main Street in Sundridge on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Sandra Jenkinson officiating.

If desired, memorial donations to Zion United Church, Alzheimers Society or the charity of your choice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
