HANNA, Dorothy Evelyn May (nee FRASER) - It is with profound sadness that the family announces the passing of Dorothy Hanna of Toronto who passed away on November 20, 2018, at the age of 81 after a prolonged illness.
Predeceased in 1997 by her beloved husband of 40 years Samuel Hanna.
Mother of Scott and Karen (Byron Too) and fiercely proud Nana of Miranda and Christian Too and Christopher and Michael Hanna.
She is also survived by her sister Marion Wilson and her neighbourhood friends.
Dorothy spent her retirement tending to her beautiful garden and spending time with her grandchildren.
In her previous work life, she was a successful real estate agent and small business owner. She cherished her independence, drove her car until she entered the hospital over four months ago and loved the fact that she saw her grandchildren to adulthood.
In accordance with her wishes, she will be cremated and there will be no funeral.
