They later moved to L'Île-Perrot, Quebec, to raise their family.

Loving mother to Wayne (Wendy), Lynda, Jo-Ann (deceased) (Roy) and Nanci (deceased) (Mike). Predeceased by brother Ted. Devoted grandmother to Colin, Dan (Michael), Heather, Lisa (Richard), Carter and Kyle. Great-grandmother to Tayler, Parker, Matthew, Jenna and Cole.

In her later years, she moved to Newmarket where she lived in the care of her daughter Jo and son-in-law Roy.

She was always content wherever she was. Her presence will be greatly missed by many. Adored and forever loved for the exceptional, unique lady she was. Cremation will take place, followed by interment at St. James Cemetery, Toronto.

A celebration of June's life will be held at Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, Newmarket, on Saturday, February 2, 2019 from 1-3 p.m. Many grateful thanks to the nursing staff at The Willows Estate.
